Please note that the only social activity included in Full Registration Fees and Accompanying Persons Registration Fees is the Opening Ceremony followed by the Welcome Reception. Other social activities such as the Japan Night need to be purchased separately.
Various kinds of social events will give a good opportunity to meet other participants and to experience cultural diversity of the host country, Japan.

Come and join us for the Japan midsummer festival “Matsuri” in Yokohama! The Osanbashi hall is a gateway to Yokohama Port and is actually used as the International Passenger Terminal. Surrounded by the sea, nice breeze and beautiful nightscape make you feel relaxed.

Inside the hall, you can join more energetic and traditional Japanese summer festival with Japanese spirits “Sake” and the fantastic performances by secret special guests. After enjoying traditional atmosphere, the party will be transformed to dance! Enjoy everyone, with colleagues and your new friends!

Great Buddha
A neighboring temple of Hase-dera Temple is Kotoku-in Temple with an 11-meter-tall statue of Buddha, which is overwhelming sight. The construction of the bronze "handsome" Buddha began in 1252.

Zeniarai Benten
Legend has it that this shrine was constructed by the first Shogun, Minamoto Yoritomo, after he received a divine message in his dreams, saying “use the water here to offer prayers to god, and all the world will be at peace.” Later Hojo Tokiyori washed money with this water praying for the prosperity of his family. Since then the water has become famous as water for washing money and getting financial success. The water, called Zeniarai-mizu (money-washing water), is one of Kamakura's five famous waters.

3. Japanese Culture Experience - Shodo, Calligraphy

Shodo is the art of calligraphy, which is the writing of Chinese characters with a brush in India ink. Particular emphasis is placed on the shades of the ink, the movement of the writing brush and the combination of the strokes. It is practiced to cultivate one’s inner self.
